About:
Donald C. Blessing was born in Lebanon, Indiana in 1955 and grew up in Southside Virginia. He attended
the University of Richmond and received his law degree from T.C.
Williams School of Law. Admitted to the Virginia State Bar in
1980, he has been practicing law in Farmville since 1983. His
professional affiliations include membership in the Virginia
State Bar, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the
Association of Trial Lawyers of America. . His involvement in
his community includes membership in the Prince Edward Lions
Club, and the Farmville Chamber of Commerce (President 1988-89).
He currently serves as legal counsel for the town of Farmville.
James Bell graduated from Longwood
University (Cum Laude) in 1999 and Regent University School of
Law (Magna Cum Laude) in 2002. Admitted to the Virginia State
Bar in 2002, he has been practicing law in Farmville since 2002.
His professional affiliations include membership in the Virginia
State Bar and the Tenth Judicial Circuit Bar Association
(President 2008-09). His involvement in his community includes
memberships at New Life Assembly of God and the Rice Volunteer
Fire Department. Previously, he has taught pre-law
undergraduate classes at Longwood University. He currently
serves as a part-time Assistant Commonwealth Attorney for the
County of Buckingham, Virginia.

Sharon G. Palmore
of Dillwyn, Virginia, has been with this office since 1986.
Mrs. Palmore also works with closing real estate transactions,
as well as personal injury cases such as automobile accidents.
